Thirumurthy (R. Madhavan) and Gurumurthy (Arya) are brothers, settled in Thoothukudi. The elder one Thirumurthy is very sensitive to violence and the younger is fearless and strong. Their father is a police officer. After the death of thier father, Gurumurthy asks his elder brother to take the police job. Whenever there is a problem, Gurumurthy enters and saves the victim for his brother. Thus Thirumurthy gets all the credits and become popular in the region.
Vasanthi (Sameera Reddy) and Jayanthi (Amala Paul) are sisters. Thirumurthy and Vasanthi are getting married and this gives enough opportunity for the romance of Gurumurthy and Jayanthi.
As the story moves on with increasing popularity of Thirumurthy and the two village's mob bosses begin to take revenge on him. At one stage, Gurumurthy wanted his elder brother to avoid his fear completly and he did not help one time. Thus Thirumurthy got severely beaten by the village's mob. Through the training by his younger brother, Thirumurthy also became fearless. Finally the two brothers joins and fight back against the two gangs and protect their family.
The screen play was very good however songs did not pick it up well. Arya performance was excellent where Madhavan did his job perfectly. Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul played well in their role. Overall this combination became a very good to mix to the story. It is a comedy, action and entertaining movie.
