The story is completely a sequence of flashbacks. Velu (Sri) is a teenager. After losing his parents, he came to Chennai and start working in roadside food shop. Jyothi (Urmila Mahanta) working as a maidservant in Aarthy's house close to the roadside shop where Velu is working. Velu meets Jyothi and falls in love.
Aarthy (Manisha Yadav) and Dinesh (Mithun Murali) lives in one of the apartment buildings. Dinesh is a spoilt brat because of his parents and he did not have any good habits. Aarthy started liking him without knowing his true intentions. He utilized the opportunity and shoots video clips of her private moments on his mobile phone. He also started circulating them to his friends via MMS. When Aarthy finds out, she threatens him to approach the police. When Dinesh tries to murder Aarthy, Jyothi intervenes accidentally and saves her. Hence Jyothi sustains serious injuries in the process.
The corrupt Police Inspector Kumaravel (Muthuraman) begins investigations on this case. First he enquires with Velu and then followed by Aarthy and Dinesh. At the end, money matters and Kumaravel smartly makes Velu as accused.
This is a "must watch" movie even though subject is bit heavy and the climax is sad. This story narrates how MMS and latest technolgies are being misused in today's world and also how poor and innocent people are getting affected.
