Windows 8 launched on Thursday Oct 25, 2012 in New York City and the sales begun at 12:01 PM local time across the globe. Micrsoft Surface had a warm welcome across the consumers in the world. It might be too early to predict the future of Surface Tablets. But one thing is sure that Apple will start slowing down in the coming quarters since it has got a very strong competitor now and its time of monopoly is over.

 

Microsoft sold about 670 million Licenses of Windows 7. Now with the launch of Windows 8 which is designed to run on PCs, Tablets, Laptops, Ultrabooks and phones, it gives an excellent opportunity in the apps market. Since currently android apps and iphone apps market is getting saturated, now the focus turns on to windows 8 apps market. The number of apps developed on Windows 8 is very less compared to Andoid and iOS.

 

To attract the consumer markets, many enthusiastic business people and developer now started focusing on Apps market. Who enters into App Market in the beginning would the winner. Because once consumer gets used to one app, then they might reluctant to switch to another app until otherwise they are really worth swithing it.
