It is an action thriller film in Tamil. The main story is to expose the scam of faulty bullet proof jackets. The movie starts with showing Ashok Kumar (Ajith) as a Antihero by setting up a bomb blast in Mumbai City. Maya (Nayanthara) is helping Ashok Kumar to accomplish what he wants.

Computer Software Hacker Arjun (Arya) and Maya were college mates in the past. Arjun is kidnapped by Maya and Ashok Kumar to hack the system one after another as per Ashok Kumar instructions. Arjun's girl friend (Taapsee Pannu) is also coming under the control on Ashok Kumar.

Arjun keeps trying to escape from Ashok but he fails. Finally Ashok gets arrested by the police and Arjun came to know that Ashok was a Anti Terrorist Squad and his friend Assistant Commissioner Sanjay (Rana) gets killed because of faulty bullet proof jackets. Ashok came to know that Home Minister Madhadev Rane (Mahesh Manjrekar) involved in the scam. When the flash back story ended, Arjun realizes that what Ashok was doing is correct and starts supporting him.

Ashok, Maya, Arjun and his girl friend forms a team to fight against the Home Minister and reveals about the scam. The story is a great masala mix and good entertaining action movie to watch. It is a very good movie especially for Ajith fans as well as Nayan's fans also.
